All salon services require an intake appointment because the client needs to be present when we receive and assess the piece. Maintenance, repairs, and alterations are generally drop-off services after that appointment. Turnaround depends on our schedule, the scope of work, and the client’s needs. Expedited work may be possible case by case.

Installation of an adjustable interior elastic strap to help personalize the fit and improve stability. Placement and tension are tailored to your cap and comfort, with care to avoid unnecessary pressure.
Addition of reinforced, shapeable ear tabs to help the wig sit more consistently at the temples and support a more defined fit around the ears. Tabs are positioned to suit your hairline, cap construction, and comfort.
Addition of a soft velvet lining along selected interior areas of the cap to provide a cushioned contact surface and gentle grip. Placement is customized to improve comfort and help reduce shifting without adding unnecessary bulk.
Addition of silicone lining or grip sections in selected areas of the cap to help improve traction against the skin and reduce movement. Placement is tailored to your needs, with consideration for exposed scalp, existing hair, and skin sensitivity.
Small adjustments for a more comfortable, secure fit. May include limited cap reduction, adjustable-strap changes, or repositioning existing clips or combs, depending on the wig’s construction. Your piece is assessed before alterations begin.
Careful lace trimming and subtle hairline refinement help personalize a new wig to your face and preferred placement. The approach is selected according to the lace, density, and construction of your piece.
Liner starting prices cover targeted placement; full-cap lining or extensive customization is quoted individually. All alterations depend on the hairpiece’s condition and construction. Our outside-piece consultation requirement and $75 fee apply to pieces not purchased from Sword & Crown, Maven Mane Co., or Milk and Honey Co.
For pieces that need structural attention, including damaged lace, torn caps, loose seams, or worn attachment components. We assess the damage, discuss repair options, and provide a quote before work begins.
For substantial cap resizing, construction changes, or complex customization beyond a minor fit adjustment. Pricing is determined case by case according to the materials, labor, and scope of work required.

All listed prices are starting rates. Your final price depends on the length, density, condition, construction, and customization needs of your hair or piece. Any additional charges will be discussed before work begins.
Please bring wigs and toppers clean and detangled for cutting or alteration appointments unless a cleansing service is included in your booking. Pieces requiring additional cleansing, detangling, or corrective work will be assessed and quoted before proceeding.
Sword & Crown Salon reserves the right to decline service on any wig, topper, or hairpiece based on its quality, condition, construction, or suitability for the requested service. Our team will assess whether the piece can withstand the proposed work and whether we have the tools and expertise needed to achieve the desired result.
Any wig, topper, or hairpiece not purchased from Sword & Crown or its affiliated brands, Maven Mane Co. or Milk and Honey Co., is subject to a $75 outside-piece fee, in addition to applicable service charges.
